Number Train

Number Train is an award-winning preschool class designed to help children grow in confidence, learn new skills, and prepare for school through music, making, movement and maths!

The early building blocks of numeracy and ‘number sense’ are crucial for a child’s success in maths later on, and Number Train aims to teach these over the year through different themed adventures. Led by a qualified primary school teacher, each week the children will board the imaginary Number Train and go on a journey of discovery as they travel all over the world!  With a different destination each time, the sessions are guaranteed to keep children engaged. 

We aim to help children to grow in confidence as they take part in fun activities, games, action songs, turn-taking, story telling and art & craft projects  – all of which have an underlying focus on maths and the early years curriculum.
