Green Church

Jesus tells us to love the Lord our God and our Neighbour, both of which are heavily entwined in our treatment of creation and natural resources. We’re working to reduce our building’s carbon footprint. We are registered with the Christian environmental charity, A Rocha and have achieved their Bronze Eco Church Award. We promote green initiatives, for example, considering individual lifestyle, its impact on the environment (WWF Footprint Calculator), climate change and its repercussions. We’d love hear from you and share support or advice. It may feel that global scale of climate crisis and climate injustice is overwhelming and unstoppable, but in the words of Mother Teresa, “None of us…ever do great things. But we can all do small things, with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.”  Let’s have a go!
